The main screen provides a visual picture of the exercise (or stretch). It also provides instructions on how to do the exercise. In addition, it cues you on how many repetitions to perform.

After you have completed the exercise, you simply click on the NEXT button to move on to the next exercise. If you feel the need to go back a repeat an exercise, you just click on PREVIOUS. Ergo Pro also gives you the option to skip the exercise session. This is helpful in instances where you have already taken a break, or if there you are in the middle of a high priority task.

Settings or Preferences can be set up to your individual needs. You can pick number of repetitions (5, 10, or 15) by choosing short, medium or long. It is even possible to select which group of exercises to do (back, neck, shoulders, or wrist). Further, you can choose to do all the exercises or rotate through the series.
You can be prompted to do exercises every 30 minutes, every hour, every two hours, or even pick your own time frames. This is helpful if you spend most of your time doing computer work that keeps you in front of your screen for long periods of time (like graphic design, page layouts, etc.).
But suppose your computer duties are primarily things like data entry or writing long papers for school or work. Then the settings can be changed to prompt you after a certain number of keystrokes. It is even possible to choose both settings together!!
Other options include how you wish to be reminded to do your exercises. The main screen can automatically appear on top of your current screen, or to simply blink a reminder at the bottom of your screen (WITH OR WITHOUT A SOUNDING BELL). It even gives you the option of choosing what sound you want to hear!!
